ITI Glass hosted an open house for Construction Specifications Institute Mid-Kansas Chapter.

ITI Glass hosted an open house for Construction Specifications Institute Mid-Kansas Chapter. The event is part of the organization’s monthly educational program.

"It was a great program," said John Hageman, president of CSI Mid-Kansas Chapter.

The event began with a walking tour of the glass fabrication plant, followed by a presentation on the benefits of specifying performance glass coatings by David Wickham, ITI Glass general manager.

"There are considerable performance differences between hard and soft low-e glass coatings," said Wickham during the presentation. Wickham stressed that current aesthetic and energy saving trends in the glass industry will increase the need for better performing glass types.

After a brief question and answer session following the presentation, the open house concluded with a bratwurst dinner for CSI guests.
